|
|
Hello..
I'm needing to tax my bike. The V5 is nowhere to be found despite my awesome filing skills.
I have the V5C/2 that I got when purchasing said bike, however taxing online say "Nah, invalid m8" and won't let me do so.
Can you still get the post office Deirdre to do it using that or do I need to apply for another V5 and leave my vehicle untaxed on the road |

Drop the first digit from the 12 digit V5C/2 number = 11 digit V5 number.
Might reject it, might tax it under the old keeper's details, might be great success. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I tried to tax at the post office with just the new keepers slip, got told I needed to fill a form in and handed a random form.
Went home and could see the form was clearly application for a new V5
So did it online
Conclusion: Post office = useless ____________________ Looking to pass your CBT / Bike tests in Bury Lancashire? try www.focusridertraining.co.uk Would recommend.
