I'm looking for some new downpipes for my 1992 GS500E, I've found these on eBay:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222559099346?euid=3b09113aaaae434ea9a341ba2fcc95a3&bu=44536923574&cp=1&sojTags=bu=bu

However, my current pipes are different and look more like these:

If I bought the pipes would they fit my motorcycle? I have a seperate can and link pipe so I just need the pipes.

Thanks in advance!

the first ones are stock pipes that have had the link pipe cut off the back,
gs stock pipes are 1 piece from the headers to the can.
was a popular mod in the early days to cut the pipe down low and then fit a modified r6 link pipe and can of choice

If I bought the first ones are the headers the same as my current downpipes? Didn't want to buy some and then the headers be further apart or something... I don't know a lot about motorcycles, still learning! Very Happy

Also I'm almost certain my downpipes have been cut by the previous owner in the same place.

yeah mate they would have been, as i say it was a common mod,
at the time, you could only buy a motaad system, which was expensive and didnt sound any better than stock,
so some people used r6 link pipes or got custom link pipes made,
keeping with the stock headers meant you didnt need to re-jet.
