Carrying on from my previous threat (Long Trip) in general chat.
I was plannng to go to Moffatt in Scotland but really not sure now.
Need some ideas of where to go.
Looking for somewhere scenic so I can take photos, a decent chippy would be nice.
Will be leaving from Darwen Lancashire. Then back the same day.

Only places I've been on the bike is
Kirkby Lonsdale
Hawes
Ar side
Bolton Abbey.
Really do wanna go to Scotland but not sure if I should do that next year when I can stop the night somewhere.

Pick a sunny day and do this:

Dales/Pennines/Lakes route

Plenty of places to stop for food and drinks on this route, and a great day's ride, plenty of good scenery. Don't worry about Scotland for now if you're not used to full days in the saddle. A few routes like this under your belt, and you'll soon be ready for anywhere!
