I've usually either used non resistor plug caps or made them up by removing the resistor, but as far as I can remember that was almost always on bikes with points ignition. Is there any reason not to do it on a CDI? I have read a few things that imply errant radio emissions from non resistored systems can bugger with a CDI but on my particular application I very much doubt this.

The engine is basically a Chinese Honda clone CM250 Rebel engine and there's going to be no computers or software or any other oddball leccy gubbins on the bike. Very simple.

I'm intending to use a double lead single coil for a Yamaha Banshee 350 (wasted spark style) and a standard Chinese CDI. The plugs are non resistor newfangled ones with the three electrodes, and a couple of NGK plug caps with the resistors removed. Personally I can't see how any of this would make any difference to the simple CDI ignition setup on this engine. There's nothing else electronic on this bike to be affected by random radio emissions from the ignition.
