When you find it, assuming it's a PITA to replace, put an electronic one in there that'll flash at a constant rate over a wide range of wattages. They tend to be very reliable and will run both standard bulbs and LEDs or a mix of the two.

I'm rocking these ones if I need to replace a flasher relay. Pricier than many but very effective even on bikes with weedy charging systems.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-ELECTRONIC-INDICATOR-FLASHER-RELAY-CLASSIC-CAR-WITH-OE-CLICK-X-L-P-2-3-PIN-/181922797997

Make sure you order that one and not a positive earth one.

It's more likely to be a blown bulb or two rather than the relay. If both of the rear indicators stopped working at the same time, see if the tail light and brake light also gave up - could be that the light cluster got unplugged, or its earthing wire (one wire serving all the rear lights and connected to the frame or the wiring loom) is disconnected or broken.

Indicator relays usually need all the bulbs in the circuit to work in order to flash. If one bulb is blown, then the remaining indicator bulb will light up but not flash.

Hi
I have completely stripped every plastic panel from my moped today and there is no flasher relay ?

What happens is when I turn left or right ....it will stay constant light up on dash and none of the indicators flash only sign of power I get on the dash being constant lite up green.

Each indicator has about x4 mini bulbs in it not led but look like smaller version of 501 bulbs

I was playing around with my regulator when my battery was not charging and I fitted a 4 wire regulator to my 5 wire regulator wire but left the black disconnected I didn't charge battery so I put 5 wire regulator back on then I realized my headlight bulb was blown my rear 501 bulbs was blown and my Speedo sensor was blown and indicators not working

The fuse had a piece of wire in it so it burnt everything out

Do you guys reckon it could be x16 mini bulbs that it has blown then ????? As there is no flasher relay 100%

I chased whole loom no flasher relay

Please help please !

Thank you

I know it's so strange ? How else would the indicators flash if there is no relay? I'm so confused it's doing my head in

Think I'm going to buy another regulator and go from there
As can't find an indicator relay only found cdi, regulator, starter relay.

I'm now out of MOT and trying to solve this problem

Follow the wiring from switch properly and see where it terminates. Then wire in a new relay

Results !!!!! The flasher relay is built-in the regulator rectifier 😊

So I have to buy a new regulator rectifier to get my indicators to flash to pass MOT then send the £44 regulator back to eBay when MOT passes and stick my broken 1 back in till I can afford to buy the working regulator as pay day not till end of month and going in overdraft for a few days then hopefully they refund me 😎??

Thank you guys so much it was a pain bike stripped down for no reason at all but hey that's the joy of owning a ped/bike 😁😂😍

Bet that's a relief, sort of. What a good bit of design.

You could probably chop the indicator wiring from the rectifier plug and route it to a standard flasher relay. Unless it's a really good bit of design and it's got magic wires too.

I was thinking about that.

I got X5 wires red.black.green. at top of clip then at bottom of clip pink and yellow

How would I know what wires are the indicators ?

Also on eBay I have been offered a second hand regulator for my ped for £16 posted. I could afford this and keep it 1

But if I could wire a relay in place that would be better as I got a 2 pin 12v relay already
