Just bought a zx9r b2 its been standing for about 5 years, so I've had the carbs cleaned fresh fuel and new fuel pump.
it starts on the button it runs well on choke at first then as it warms up starts to miss off choke and just dies when trying to pull away, any ideas?

Last time I had such issue, there was water in my fuel. The second time I experienced this, was the ignition coil just being too old to work when hot. Thinking

Also don't assume the carbs are clean just because you've had them cleaned, Last time I had running issues like that with the zx6r the carbs took 3 goes through the ultrasonic cleaner before it ran well again!

I had a similar problem where I had a slight air leak due to a gap between the airbox halves when putting it back together.

if the bike has sat for 5 years, I would go over everything maintenance wise, especially stuff like spark plugs, air filter, checking for air leaks, change oil/coolant etc, and do valve clearances. In the process of doing that then you might come across something problematic.

I just did similar for my 9R which sat up for nearly 2 years.

Check if there's a downpipe that's not getting as hot as the others as quickly. Might help identify the problem.

Fuel pump relay? Try by-passing the fuel pump by connecting the petrol tap directly to the carbs.

I would be looking at the 'O' rings 92055 between the inlet manifolds and the cylinder head

https://www.cmsnl.com/kawasaki-zx900e1p-ninja-zx9r-2000-europe-uk-fr-is-nr_model12958/partslist/E1111.html#results

If one or more of those have split it will weaken the mixture considerably
