In i reckon another 15 years, they'll be some 30 somethings, one day feeling a bit lost driving their 2nd Korean or Chinese hatchback, thinking 'you know what, I miss the good times in the days I used to have a laugh with my mates. It was probably when I had my Lexmoto or Honely ABC125'

They might start a new more money than sense craze to buy and restore such bikes, adding the accessories from back in the day, and pushing prices up beyond all explanation.

So Chinese bike museum FTW maybe? Wink

People will read that and laugh, but people would have laughed even more if 40yrs ago someone had said "my FS1E will be worth £3500 one day" or had said "i'll buy a honda cub, ride it for a few years then leave it in my shed for 30years then sell it for 3 times what i paid for it"

Makes you glad to have been able to experience Japanese bikes though. And if it hadn't been for the Japs, there'd be no Chinese bikes. Which is kind of a double-edged sword really Laughing

The way the classic vehicle market has been behaving over the last decade or so, it might be worth buying a few in crates and tucking them away somewhere, one day the last couple of years will be seen as the coming of the Chinese, in much the same way Black Bombers and CB750Ks are seen as the start of the Jap invasion today.
