Nope, both have been sat outside (uncovered by the looks of it) for years. MOT history says the TTR was last on the road in 2012 and the Freewind in 2014. Apparently they both have electrical issues, the clutch appears to be seized on the TTR.

Had to look up what a Freewind is.

Might be worth scraping the rust off...

I think it's the better prospect out of the two, although I dunno what you'd do about the missing plastics, naked conversion maybe.

If they haven't gone after Christmas I'll send a van down for the Freewind. Ten minutes with a multimeter should sort it :p

No idea mate, i'll know when it pops up.

Some ideas include:
- Charity shops
- Local pick only ebay items
- FB groups

etc.

Do you do this? Looked at it before but looks like it's highly saturated already.

I'm not stalking Jayy or anything (honest) but I have a thread bookmarked where he went into detail on the subject: https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=4093438#4093438

I used to a decade+ ago sell stuff from lik-sang (before they went out of business), why I stopped was the profit was relatively small once you factored in costs (fees/postage etc.). Obviously you don't have the postage problem with dropshipping, but ever since Royal mail changed their pricing (whenever it was they started factoring in size and not just weight), items started costing more to send than they were selling for.

Also even back then most people who made a good living out of it said the good days had gone, there was too much competition. Also this may sound stupid but I realised other factors influenced sales, for example items sold for virtually nothing on 7/7, although that only applies for auction listings it's something to consider (when your item ends can massively influence the price it goes for).

They're £40 online and it's brand new at £20. Should make some profit.
