Much gnashing of teeth to hold on? I wonder if it goes like an MT10.
It looks angry but without knowing why. |

The MT10 has the upper hand in horsepower, so I'd expect it to have more grunt. On the other hand, the MT10 isn't Italian.
Part of the reason for the purchase is the marque of course, and another is that bikes I want with the tech (ABS in particular) I'd like haven't come down enough in price on the second hand market, and it doesn't make sense to buy new in London unless you're riding from one secured garage to another.
I intend to get rid of it next year, before it acquires too many miles. But in the meantime it's extremely grin-inducing. Also very loud. ____________________ Bikes: S1000R, SH350; Exes: Vity 125, PS125, YBR125, ER6f, VFR800, Brutale 920, CB600F, SH300x4

I quite like that all black brutale!
I didn't even know MV were still making them though?
It's fooking rare these days for me to like a modern bike, and there's no way I could ride an disfigured alien like the MT10 or a Z1000.
How's this London thing work then? Do you have to have a newish bike to avoid the congestion charge or emissions tax or something?
Can you ride old strokers in the smoke still? |

They're not. It's a '12 reg, but a fairly clean example at 7k miles.

I don't think there's anything stopping you yet, but when the regulations come in in 2019, bikes will have to be at least Euro 3 if pre 2007. ____________________ Bikes: S1000R, SH350; Exes: Vity 125, PS125, YBR125, ER6f, VFR800, Brutale 920, CB600F, SH300x4
