I'm getting some Enfield foldy-up footpegs but I'll need longer bolts than what they come with. Looks like they use coach bolts, my suspicion is that M10 or M12 coach bolts will work.

Depends on their mood at the factory that day.

My 500 AVL uses one big solid rod that runs under the engine and is threaded at both ends, rather than individual bolts for each peg.

So: dunno, let's have a look.

Don't know but I should probably find out, for the next time mine rattle their way out I might not be so lucky as to catch them before they fall.

Mine were definitely bolts though, not threaded bar.

Yes, mine also have a hex-shaped hole that slides over a massive lump of hex-bar that runs right through the engine and frame are then fixed in place with a nut at each end.

Ah yes, those are REAL Enfield footpegs. I've seen those ones that connect to the long rod thing. What I'm after the bolt size for are Enfield PILLION footpegs like what you get generically on Fleabay.

It'll be either M10 or 3/8"BSW depending on if Sanjif or Jayesh brought his hereditary tap and die in on the day.

Oh... sorry, don't know that either: mine doesn't have pillion pegs, it was proto-hipstered.

Mine haven't tried to escape yet so I've had no reason to examine the bolts.
