My Bandit is a mess, general untidiness etc but it all works
I'm thinking of having it powder coated an painted but don't really know if its worth it.
Looking to do it mainly as a preventative measure with looks coming second, although the colour it is at the moment is gash (light blue frame with black tank plastics etc) plus a few of the welds on the frame are looking a bit crusty - especially the bar behind the oil cooler, looks like it has a hole init
Realistically, the bike is a 1996 quite high mileage (40k), just worried that when/ if i strip it what else will falls to bits, bolts strip etc is it liable to turn into a money pit? |

/thread, really. There's no way it makes financial sense. The opportunity costs of stripping it down and putting it back together likely outweight the value of the bike, even if nothing else needs doing to it. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Do what most people do with a Bandit.
Bolt lots of anodised parts to it. Always works well ____________________ Yamaha RXS 100 > Honda CD 250 > Honda Hornet 600 > Honda CBR 600RR > Yamaha RXS 100 > Kawasaki ZX6R J2 > Yamaha FZ1 |
