I mean, I knew people in the East made fake food and beverages, ate dogs and rats, but this is a whole new level of gastronomy. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

Not to surprising to be honest...
I 'refine' (filter, dry and re-filter) waste vegetable oil on a fairly large scale as I put it through my car.
It wouldn't take much more effort to make it more presentable (lets be honest, a dark tinge doesn't put a Peugeot off) and sell it on, but I don't think I could do that tbh.
Moral objections aside, dodgy back street oil will never return the same value as the diesel it replaces in the UK. If the cost of fuel weren't so high (read: taxed to buggery) it may be worth it, but yeah.
You'd be surprised the horrid, fettid, white scummy sh*te that can be refined with a little heat/acid back to fuel or potentially cooking oil I guess |

I saw something where kids pick up used gum, flatten them out/re-package them and sell 'em to tourists |

I remember a few years ago the police rooted out a some right c*nts making fake branded vodka in the UK.
There were buying industrial alcohol, bleaching the dye out, blending & bottling.
Nasty f*ckers. From the empty drums and paraphernalia the authorities recon around 8,000 bottles made it out onto the streets |

Did the Czech Methanol scandal (2012) make the NEWS in the UK?
A bunch of smart people had vast amounts of methanol. The law (CZ/EU) says there may be a certain amount of methanol per 1L of ethanol in every bottle of liquor, as ethanol pretty much neultralises methanol in your body. The best known treatment for methanol poisoning is to give the patient clean ethanol.
Anyway, these people had a legal liqueur brewery and knowning every bottle may legally contain some methanol, they started to mix their methanol supplies with the alcohol in the bottles they were then selling in the supermakerts and small retail stores, all with legal stamps.
Long story short, they fecked up the ratio and there were 50 dead people and several people with pernament sight damage and other organ damage. 15,000L of such feckery got onto the market. The gov. declared prohibition (Beer and Wine excluded) and every vendor, pub owner... had to have their alcohol either tested or destroyed. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

What a surprise...
Indian farmers injecting vegetables with shite to make them bigger, dying them to make them look better and spraying them with silicone to make them look fresh / shiny.
