Hi guys,
So I have this Bonnie T100, from 2005, which has had to spend the last three years, incl. the winter seasons, out on the street (due to not having a garage or other shelter).
It's got little rust spots and lots of white corrosion in many places around the engine block, the carbs and the chassis (see pics).
Since this year it's now in a dry garage, but has run out of tax and MOT months ago.
I am thinking of selling it, perhaps to someone who needs a base for a custom bike or who likes putting some TLC in.
It's a lovely thing, with the engine starting every time and running really smoothly, no problem. Also, the tires are in good condition and all electronics work just fine.
Now, I am wondering if it's even going to make any money this way, or if I need to invest in getting it through MOT and replacing all the rusty parts etc.
What's your experience with this kind of situation? What would you advise I do? |
