The original SWBF2 (2005) was updated earlier on this week with them switching Multiplayer from Gamespy to GOG galaxy meaning you can now play on line without have to use game ranger etc.

Seems to be a few issues at the moment but people are online with it.
Can buy off of steam or GOG, the're both compatible with each other.

Can't remember which one I used to play back then, I think it was the first game as it had the X-Wing, but I could be misremembering.

One of the greatest games I remember playing when younger. I bought it on Steam but it never worked on windows 7 or later for me.

Set compatibility mode to XP.
