Exhaust fits now!

2 foot blue flames shooting out the back are impressive but it's so damn loud... seriously loud. Tune next week to hopefully settle things down and get more powahhhh

*Before I put the exhaust plates back on, below the engine has a plate to hide most of the exhaust.

My SV had a two brothers can on it when I got it. Stupidly loud. But, I bought a (ridiculously overpriced) Powertip DB killer and it calmed it down nicely. It's just a piece of plastic so I doubt restricts any airflow. It also produces a very very faint whistle like a turbo. Worth a try if you don't mind spending $30+

Truly beautiful machine. It makes me sad that I won't bend into one any more. Ride it well.

What tank grips are those?

I bought Easigrip for my Daytona and MT07 but they've peeled up at the edges and separated from the adhesive. Hoping I can find something that doesn't do that...

RG, I wish they fit better, they are designed for this bike... RG just don't seem to see angles like the rest of us!

Couldn't be without them, every time I accelerated I'd go backwards!

Why is it so down on ponies? 2016 R1 should be up near 200bhp 180+ at the wheel. Florida heat?

Lovely colour scheme Thumbs Up

It's an R1S, doesn't have titanium valves or conrods so the rev limit is lower (12.2 rather than 14.4). Makes the same power at the same RPM, just doesn't rev as high.

My dad has the R1 and tuned it makes 179.

Intetesting Never heard of an 's' derivative. Not sure it's even available in the UK. Is the lower rev limit the only real difference?

I don't get the magnesium wheels either, which I'm pretty thankful for actually. It's supposed to way 9lbs more overall, otherwise it's the same, same electronics etc

They look fine in the photo! I’ve found that most aftermarket parts don’t ever fit quite how I’d like them to. Maybe I’m too fussy though.
