In general you should try to gear your bike so that you reach the top of 6th gear at the fastest point on the circuit, then adjust this baseline up or down if you find yourself having problems i.e. hitting the limiter too early in a long corner or having to make too many gear changes.
I'd go with a 13t front sprocket then play with a few size of rear, try starting with 46 and seeing how this works for you. If you take a few varied sizes along to a trackday or test day you should be able to find gearing that you're comfortable with. It doesn't necessarily have to be a combination that other people recommend, as long as it suits you and your bike on that particular circuit... ____________________ 3516 Miles, 11 Countries |
