The lorry park at M20 Junction 11 is nothing to do with Brexit, it's to do with having a neighbouring country full of strikey socialists and Gimmedats.
There are several other lorry parks, including another already at the Stop 24 services, but they're not large enough to cope when Le Po-Po allow the Gimmedats to storm the ferries or tunnel.
It needs building because the M20 being shut for days causes chaos, but much like all the other bullshit coming from the Beeb, it has nothing to do with Brexit. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

BBC "reality checks" the claim that we trade with "the rest of the world" under WTO rules.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-41859691
Lies! LIEEEEES!
"This is wrong, the UK trades with only 24 countries under WTO rules only. With 68 others it has, as part of the EU, agreements either fully or partly in place which enable trade on better terms"
OK, and of course, all countries are equal. It doesn't matter which countries we trade with under WTO, and which ones the EU has managed to secure some sort of trade deal with, right?
https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/624/cpsprodpb/11AD3/production/_98630427_wto_rules_640-nc.png
"The EU - and therefore the UK as a member - has trade deals with other countries, like South Korea, Mexico and recently Canada."
South Korea - Not in force.
Mexico - Not in force.
Canada - Not in force.
I do so love when the EUrophiles try to big up the benefits of being a vassal of Berlin, and succeed only in revealing its stunning incompetence and inertia. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Let's get back to the negotiations shall we?
I am still very skeptical about any December deal, but to be fair UK juts has published EU citizens rights future scheme.
I have looked at it and it looks fair: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/more-detail-provided-on-new-settled-status-for-eu-citizens
Given the fact that there are rumors about £60bln bill talks the only problem left is the NI border.
Wait for it ____________________ Adrian Monk: Unless I'm wrong, which, you know, I'm not...

I really hate to disappoint you here Ste, but I have passed many security and CRB checks already as part of my job.
Can't tell you what is the job unless I hire you or kill your cat

On the subject of VAT did anybody else see this review?
Quote: | Britain's VAT system is set for major reform after a review commissioned by Phillip Hammond found the current rules are hurting the economy.
The review, carried out by Government advisers at the Office for Tax Simplification, found that the current threshold above which businesses pay VAT is discouraging small businesses from growing.
The report, due to be published next week, will lay out options which could to be used to create a windfall for the Treasury in Phillip Hammond's Autumn Budget latest this month.
One of the suggested options would see a million extra businesses and self-employed people having to charge customers an extra 20 per cent for goods and services for the first time.
It comes after reports that the Chancellor is planning a substantial tax giveaway to help "Generation Rent", suggesting new ways to increase revenue through tax may also be being looked at....
More ..https://www.pressreader.com/uk/the-daily-telegraph/20171104/281513636421195 |
Reduce the VAT threshold to £26,000 . That would bury many small businesses over night. |
Hasn't stopped them killing town centers with epic rates etc though has it
the 'tories' at the moment must be the most economically illiterate we've had in some years, wont be long before Corbyn gets in because people think, well if we're gonna be taxed like fuck anyway, while still getting in more debt, we might aswell have some goodies along the way ____________________ '00 Aprilia RS50 > '92 Honda CG > '99 Yamaha Fazer > '91 Yamaha RXS > '79 Suzuki X5 > 01' Honda Cg > 07' Honda Cg > 82' Kawasaki Z200 > suzuki gsxr 400 gk73a > honda vfr 400 NC30> Yamaha RD350 YPVS F2 > Kawasaki ZZR 600 D1 > Yamaha TZR 250 2MA >Suzuki TL1000R > Yamaha TDR250 > Honda 929 blade > Suzuki SV1000 > Honda H100

Sorry to get back on track, but it seems like we're moving into the final stages of our token maidenly struggle before giving Brussels the political-financial bareback ficki ficki that it's been demanding from the start - with the possible exception of ceding Norn Mickland to it, worse luck.
£50 billion, give or take (mostly give) a few tens of billions more, plus ongoing commitments, remaining subject to Strasbourg's ravings, accepting an unlimited swarm of economic migrants, continuing to pay for their kids abroad... that's a funny looking Brexit to me.
I'm actually hoping that Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition manages to force a vote on the divorce surrender, and knocks it back. At this point "chaos ensues" looks like the least bad option. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I'm sure we can all rely on May to bring us what we voted for, I mean after all "Brexit means Brexit" doesn't it? ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.
