About to buy a new projector and screen and need a way of mounting it to the wall, not the ceiling.

I need to mount the projector upside down too, as to get the right vertical shift, it has to be done like this.

How would you go about this? It's a big bastard as well, for scale here's a dudes hand next to it...

Depends the type of wall - but... get appropriately strong brackets and fixings. Attach.

I've got some basic braced L brackets that take either 100kg or 200kg each - so strength there just a case of matching to your needs.

Could run them upside too if going for braced ones; then hang the projector if desired.

So just depends how your wall is - tried to put a pull up bar up for a friend using twice as many better fixings that was recommended as their walls weren't great - it still pulled out if you used the further away bar - wall seemed to be mostly mortar.

Not sure how well the wall is going to take it but better than the ceiling for sure.

So just get some L brackets and hang the projector off them? Hmm... I thought people would suggest building some kind of shelf thing or something, I'm shit with this stuff.

What about this?

Found a good solution :

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Duronic-PB010XM-Telescopic-Universal-extendable/dp/B01D3PYY2S/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1510525850&sr=8-23&keywords=projector+wall+mount

Projector is 40cm long and weighs 8kg.

This mount starts at 38cm and extends to 60cm, so it's perfect and swivels / tilts, etc.

The other one I posted looks (and is) too cheap.
