Woodgas stove.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Outdoor-Wood-Gas-Burning-Backpacking-Camping-Picnic-Party-Alcohol-Stove-UK-NEW-A/122808769434

Having fired it a couple of times it's really good and I would even use it to boil a kettle or something during a power cut.
You need to fill it with bits and light top down - used like that almost no smoke and at least 15 minute burn time with no more sticks needed.

Used Kelly kettles for years...got complaints that I left bits of moss and dry grass in work trouser pockets. Smile
They're a good backup when I'm in the middle of somewhere and run out of gas, so have one rolling about in the back of the van.

They do soot-up and will also eject the odd spark.

But I found out a thing... to get 4K @ 60hz over 25ft you can't do it with regular HDMI cables. It goes to 30hz after that length and the only way to do it is use fiber optic HDMI cables.

So reluctantly, a £200 fiber optic HDMI cable as well Shocked

New screen for the phone. It would either type on its own, or not respond to touch at all. Started at the BCF BBQ, and I now think it was because of being in my chest pocket with the rucksack strap over it.

Was checking some Star Wars Lego stuff as I never really have the chance to play with Legos and one thing (price) lead me to another and at the end, ordered a Chinese clone version to have a go.

Was very tempted with a Super Destroyer but I resisted the call from the Dark Force.

Let us know if it's any good. My little nephew loves Star Wars but I don't love him enough to buy the real stuff Shifty

For the price it is very good, a few niggles like one of the spring loaded guns not working and the top turret a bit loose (something you can fix with blue tack). It is a laborious build as there are 1381 pieces and the manual is a copy of the lego one, but with lower resolution, so at the start the color of some pieces maybe difficult to work out. Also the bagging of the pieces differ from lego in that they are grouped by size.

Overall very happy with it.

The last thing that I bought was petrol, last night in a village called Westoning. As I pulled onto the forecourt the lights went out, and the shutters started coming down, and the cashier took pity on me and let me fill up, which was good as I'd have had to have gone up the M1 to the services otherwise, wouldn't have made it home without fuel
