Oh, he's promised an extra day's slacking-off to appease the Taffys, Micks and Neo-Nazis as well. For the public sector, of course.

Move up the road to Bradford and you won't even have to bother casting a vote. Someone else will just count it for Labour anyway. Thumbs Up

How much does it cost to attend a rally to shriek your allegiance to Comrade Corbyn?

https://i.imgur.com/Zi9ND4J.png

Tru fax from the Mail.

Actually seems legit though:

Corbynista wrote:
The basic price of a conference pass is the same for all members but, at the request of our East Midlands Regional Board, the party will subsidise part of the cost of this year’s conference pass for BAME members to encourage attendance and improve representation.

All prices are equal, but some are more equal than others. Clapping

Corbyn: I will seize private property and redistribute it to Gibsmedats.

McDonnell: Venezuela is failing because it's NOT SOCIALIST ENOUGH.

Yes. He went there. He actually said Venezuela is "not [on] a socialist path". Venezuela! I mean, socialism could work, it's just that nobody has yet chosen to do it as right as I'd force people to do it. Folded arms

If those two Friends of Hezbollah ever get into Downing Street, there will be a (((financial))) exodus from the UK the likes of which Moses could not have dreamed.

Corbyn: "cannot leave home" Wink He's wrong, raising the deposit isn't the hard bit (unless you're a total retard), it's affordability e.g. spending 50% of your salary on rent Confused The solution would be not to grant planning permission for luxury flats. I think they can already takeover empty properties with an EDMO.

Was McDonnell not referring to how Venezuela chose to subsidise oil prices, rather than sell it at a normal price and invest the profits?

You'd have to ask him to clarify his statement that Venezula is "not [on] a socialist path", because those are his verbatim words.

While you're at it, ask him how well seizing control of the means of production is working out, given that it's now at a 28 year low.

Yes, there's inequality in the free market model, but at the end of the day, everyone from the corrvpt scvm at the top to the lowliest grease monkey know that they'll only continue to get paid if they produce stuff.

Maduro has ousted anyone who knew what they were doing, or they've fled the country to market their skills elsewhere, and he's put the Inner Party in charge of oil. They're running it into the ground through a combination of ideology, corruption and sheer pig ignorance. As always happens under socialism.

But maybe Corbyn and McDonnell know the secret incantation that will cause the best people to choose to do the most good for the least pay.

You make the classic and absurd mistake of assuming anyone with remotely socialist values is hoping to go full USSR.

You should think more along the lines of the Nordic model, which is what the UK was in fact drifting towards, give or take a few silly moves along the way, before a completely unrelated global financial crisis allowed Tory HQ to sink their claws back in.

Most Nordic folk see Corbyn and his crew as middle-of-the-road, non extreme political thinkers. And the only dirt the right troop can get on Scandinavian politics is 'Sweden has ghettos because the internet said so'.

It doesn't matter what the people want if that's what the leader wants.

Not anyone. Antifa aren't in line to run the country. My specific concerns are with Corbyn and McDonnell. Again for luck: McDonnell thinks that Venezuela isn't socialist enough. Corbyn is on about seizing private property and gifting it to his electorate.

Well, I guess that's on teh internet.

The belief that the majority of individuals in a population will toil for the enrichment of each other rather than of themselves is magical thinking. It's a delusion shared only by those who are net beneficiaries of State coercion, like politicians, single mothers, scroungers, and eternal students.

John McDonnell will contradict his claim that he is ‘not a Marxist’ by headlining Europe’s biggest Marxist festival this summer – where he will share a platform with the leader of a Communist Party. Just to add a touch more Marxism to the occasion, the event will be held at the Marx Memorial Library in Clerkenwell. McDonnell will speak alongside the leader of the Communist Party of India Sitaram Yechury.

It's not been a great week for Comrade Corbyn's judgement, not that you'll have heard about it on Al Beeb.

Hob-nobbing with an anti-racist who turned out to be a massive racist, being outed as a paid communist informant (no surprise there) and now:

Do please tell us more about how we should welcome in child rapists and give them free bed and board.

Oh, he's not happy about being outed as an informant, and is now threatening "tax dodging media barons", i.e. the non-BBC press, if he gets into power.

Worth watching for the cheery mask over the rageface twitching and slipping away in the last few seconds. They really wanted to fade that out a bit quicker. It's like Hannibal Lector does Jackanory.

Yes, but what can one man do, even one with an income of £114,342, plus expenses, plus the income that he forgot to declare?

It will require structural change to solve any problem. It takes a village, people!

Agent Corbyn demands that we give Russia-Russia-Russia a sample of the Salisbury deathgas, because then they can admit it's a fair cop and it was them wot dun it. Eh?

I know that this is what we're supposed to do, but when you actually say it out loud, it sounds pretty darn silly. At least to a rational person in the real world.

Long may Agent Corbyn stand on his principles though.

Are you saying that they're honest enough to stay bought? I wouldn't credit them with so much integrity.

Corbyn is a communist on principle. That's what makes him really dangerous.

A banking crisis caused by following Tory deregulation strategies. Blair and Brown have a lot to answer for.

He has principles? That sets him apart right from the get go.

Look at the country, to use a point you make in another thread, its becoming Victorian. Victorian with none of the good bits. Just all the desperateness and human degradation. If Corbyns so dangerous then what are the establishment Tory/Labour/Liberal bunch who've been busy crafting this neo-victorian pit of misery.

There's nothing wrong with communism in principle. In practice, it wrecks productivity, and everyone is equally poor. I only say this because that's the way that it's worked out every time it's been tried, everywhere it's been tried.
