Director of Campaigns & Political Engagement
MAG seeks to employ an individual who is passionate about driving forward the agenda for riders of all motorcycles, scooters and trikes, and about representing the views of MAG and its membership.
You will be a driven, principled and proactive individual able to succeed in a challenging role, confident dealing with those in authority and able to absorb information quickly and respond to it in a timely manner.
You will identify opportunities for engagement, and provide written and verbal representation both within the organisation and to external professional bodies, including Government.
Although based around a 35-hour working week, you will have a flexible approach to working hours as the role necessitates some evening and weekend work.
This role requires you to travel so access to own transport is essential.
You will work independently and as part of our small, dedicated team and there is a requirement to attend our Honiley central office on a regular basis.
For full job description and additional details, email centraloffice@mag-uk.org.
Closing date for applications: Friday 12th January 2018 no later than 5.00 pm. Applicants should provide a CV and covering letter.
Applicants selected for interview will be informed no later than Friday 26th January 2018. Interviews to be held on Friday 9th February 2018 at our Honiley office.

It's well up to the usual standard, but what leapt out was the anti-regulation MAG "[supporting] the installation of eCall on motorcycles".
That's the Biker Down chip that squawks for Nanny Brussels to come and scrape you up when you ride into a ditch.
Or you drop your bike.
Or it malfunctions.
It absolutely, totally won't be used as spyware to track and charge every vehicle in the EU once they all have it fitted and Brussels tears up the iron clad bit of paper promising that they won't do so.
ULEZ to include motorbikes, and to be extended.
TfL confirms that they are signed up to the deranged Vision Zero scheme: "As part of our Vision Zero approach to reducing road danger".
Guess again, apparatchik, Vision Zero required eliminating road danger, which in practice means eliminating traffic.
Best bit was the totally unrelated link to some Septic kiddy rape procedural wrangle. U wot?!?!?!?! ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
