That's the problem with this topic, we remove (not literally of course as it doesn't exist) the holes which might stop some unsuspecting punter pre-ordering a Rainpal.

When did Jimbo say that? Has Adam popped in recently?

Did you appeal the YT video?

Website Adam has started early today.

"Meet the future once upon a time cars did not have wipers, crumple zones, or seat belts or airbags. You get our point safety evolved on cars we want to provide riders with greater safety in the form of improved vision. A rider's life is as precious as a driver's life."

Could we have a GoFundMe to buy Once Upon A Time Adam a bag of commas and periods, and instructions for how to stack them to create colons and semicolons?

Speaking of commas, I notice that when Weights and Measures Adam was coming up with 1-comma-2 million helmet sizes, he measured the width inside the visor. Why would that be relevant when Rainpal® is going to be stuck on the outside with Titanic Tape? Thinking

Not when it comes to sentencing. Fakenews, very bad.

Huh, it seems that H4xx0rz Adam has broken my watchlist by relocating to rainpal.eu.

I guess we know where he stands on #Brexit then.

I think people might be cynical about a crowdfunding campaign, especially after that motorcycle visor scam. But if anyone wanted, they could send him a period in the post. Address is very available, it's Delboy Cottages or something.

So, Adam has been measuring the insides of helmets. I might have guessed he'd be into sounding. That aside, this means that RainPal isn't going to fit ANY helmets! I can't believe Adam would be so stupid. It has to fit to the outside, not the inside! Sure, it will create less drag if it's mounted inside, but without some device to shift the rainwater from the outside of the visor to the inside, an internal wiper doesn't stand a chance of getting it cleared.

This means that none of the millions of RainPals already sent out for Christmas delivery are going to fit. What a complete shambles.

Drag Reduction Adam has explained about how the "gaps" are actually beneficial as they are like holes to let the air out. What Airhole Adam isn't mentioning is that these "gaps" are actually gaps between the arc of RainPal and the arc of the visor - in short "it doesn't conform to most motorcycle helmet visors". Even though his custom made wiper blade (which is so thin it's intangible) has a custom made power-spring, the drag-reduction-gap means the intangible wiper won't contact the surface of the visor (inside or out) and therefore won't wipe away rain or approved fluids.

The other "gaps" are better described as "huge overlaps". These are drag-reduction-systems too. These are bits of RainPal that stick out either side of your helmet because RainPal is too big. How do these reduce drag? Think of the winglets on the tips of airplane wings. Now don't think about it any more - leave all the fancy aerodynamics for Wind Tunnel Adam to worry about - that's his job.

If you've been trying to contact him * without success, he's on a month long pilgrimage to the Holy Land and Jerusalem over the Christmas period, expected back around January 8th.

*Joesph, not Adam. Why would anyone think I meant Adam?

Explaining jokes never makes them better, especially if the explanation attempts but fails to be funny. I don't get the 'spelt' joke, no. I would have used spelled, but spelt is acceptable.

If stupid people are still giving Adam money expecting something in return when it's not hard to find the truth about Rainpal then that's their lookout. I'd be surprised if he's had any recent income though. The lulz come from seeing the lengths he'll go to in order to build the Rainpal facade; the constant website tweaks, the feature creep, the instant specification changes (as above) and more. These imaginings supposedly address all doubts about Rainpal's utility and appearance while never making any attempt to produce a fully functional device. The self-righteousness is astonishing. And fascinating. Laughing

Adam should go on Dragon's Den.

Peter: And what do you value your business at?

Adam: 1 BILLION PONDS!

Peter: <sigh> Okay. And what are your sales figures for the last twelve months?

Adam: Err...shipping SOON!

Peter: No, how many have you actually sold?

Adam: Rainpal saves lives. FACT!

Peter: Fuck it. I'm out.

Rearranging Adam has rearranged sperg.

3M Adam can be attached in 1 second and detached as fast but once on your visor she is not going anywhere.

"Meet the future once upon a time cars did not have wipers, crumple zones, or seat belts or airbags. You get our point safety evolved on cars we want to provide riders with greater safety in the form of improved vision. A rider's life is as precious as a driver's life.

Rainpal can be attached in 1 second and detached as fast but once on your visor she is not going anywhere as one side of the bracket taking up about 1.2 cm at the top of your visor is secured via 3M VHB tape"

Oh dear, I'm surprised he's chosen 3M's VHB tape. That's a very bad choice indeed for polycarbonate visors. Materials Science Adam has not thought this through at all.

I watched an episode recently (not a regular viewer) and they had a football boot cleaning brush with integrated water squirter thingy. Anyhoo the 15yr old lad had invented it but what surprised me was that the mum had poured 100k into developing the product Shocked The Dargons did invest.

What a waste of time, it'll never be big in clubs, that's what the trainees and academy kids are there for (to clean the pro's boots).

The benefits of something that doesn't exist really, it doesn't need anything to make it attach.
