I have new laminates, coils and points on the way

The problem I have is the stator plate, some idiot has machined (butchered) the inside of the casing to fit an electronic ignition.
the three posts that hold the magneto group in place are not there any more.
Therefore I am looking for a new stator plate as well as a Drive Sprocket which he also botched by welding it on.

You might have to see if you can get a competent engineer/welder to make and weld in some new posts, just keep going to any auto jumbles in the area, I know it's a painful task, keep going

I can give no help except moral support and ask you start a thread in 'Show and tell' as I would love to see pictures of this as you are rebuilding it. Thumbs Up

I now have most of the parts I need to get this bike going and return it to original, however I still require a points cam and an engine sprocket for a MK1 Excelsior Spryt Engine (as fitted in the Corgi).

If anyone has either of these items or knows where I can get them I would be grateful.

Just a long shot. I think early BSA Bantams may have had Wico Pacy electrics, so it is possible some parts might fit.
