https://www.mcia.co.uk/admin/images/uploaded_images/[statistics_325]Press%20Statistics%20201711%20November%202017.pdf

Summary: We're still all doomed, but with some twists.

1) + Suzuki make the best selling Supersports bike / - it's a 125.
2) + Pikeys are going to run out of scooters and peds to be pinched soon as they aren't being sold at a sufficient rate to cover the ones half inched / - that means they'll turn their attentions to the MT09's that are selling like hot cakes.
3) + Slight hold-steady recovery on mid capacity bikes and 1000's+ aren't slipping down into the abyss just yet / - we'll be paying £2500 for a 15 year old used YBR for our kids in a few years time if 125's keep falling off at this rate.

Other points of note - seems the Triumph hipster-pleasing has waned away a little bit and buyers have worked out that BMW doesn't +/- quality, reliability and VFM - either that or their PCP deals have been affected by the inflation rate and Brexitarmaggedon. And, and, and, Suzuki aren't bottom of the pile any more Shocked.

All things considered, that isn't totally bad for November although I presume there are some epic deals to be had if you have got the money to buy a new bike just before Christmas.

It is pretty bad, it's down a whole heap on last November, worse than the average fall this year.

To counter arry's doooom, I'll use a politician's trick to note that the rate of fall of 125 and peds has decreased. 125s are "only" down 28.5% in November, compared to 32.8% on the year to date. Yay.

That's a bit of a shock fall in litre+ bikes, 19.6% down in November versus just 4% over the year. BMW are still shifting GSes though, nobody panic.

Big month for KTM, a surprise 3rd overall, and Suzuki do well beating Lexmoto for 5th place. New bikes, and the 3 year warranty (offer now extended to 2018), presumably - or they've persuaded their dealer chain to register a whole heap of stock before the end of the year panic.

I'd like to give a special slow hand clap to the MCIA for changing all of their documents URLs so that old links don't work, and they stuffed anyone who was running a script watching for the new monthly figures appearing. Mad

To be doubly fair, it may be that last November was inflated by cut price deals on Euro3 machines and pre registration of the rest. But a pretty picture it isn't.

Escorts and call girls if you please Roger. He won't like his sister being called a whore.
