If that's where I think it is, then it's less than a mile from the shop and is on the same road...

I believe he's changed the business name again, to Bike Onic (from Bike Onik)

If that rider had a Rainpal® he could have used the washer to extinguish the fire. Vince and the Adams should go into partnership.

That's my thinking only a mile away. Some poor sod likely riding his death trap home from there. No doubt when he gives old Vince a ring asking for a refund he'll be told "Well if you look at the receipt it clearly says sold as seen".

I'd also done the map sleuthing and married with the type of bike I'd already reached my guilty verdict.

Court is dismissed.

It's stretching credibility a bit that a Vince Candelin bike made it an entire mile.

Um yeah... so we can talk about it online or we could you know call in trading standards and get them to destroy him maybe?

As he's been at it for 8 years+ now according to this:

My last interaction with Trading Standards revealed that they're only really interested in complaints from actual victims, not their Rainpals®. Sad

I asked around locally and it turns out the rider is ok and the bike actually repairable and little to do with who we suspect.

Apparently chap had stopped to help a mate who'd run out of fuel, in transferring fuel from his petrol tank he's dropped some on the exhaust or something and it's gone up.

My NTV caught fire twice once after coming out of an MOT station and once when I used an external tank.

It looked bad but it was ultimately repairable.

my thoughts entirely, but apparently it's going to be repaired

there's enough crap on VC and Bike Onic/OniK to have a good witchhunt while keeping it an honest witch hunt.
