Hi all,

I am sorry if this is a really basic question, but my rear light on my CBR125 r (2011) is not working yet it is working when brake is applied, after checking the wiring diagram in the manual, it is a single bulb.

so my question is, can only one part (running light) of a bulb blow? and the other part (brake light) continue working? Just so i know if i need to go get a bulb tomorrow or take it to a garage instead.

Thanks in advance

You might want to check that the bulb has actually blown?
Has a fuse blown?
Is the rear brake switch out of adjustment?

the bulb lights up when the brake is applied but is not working as a standard rear light. if i have read the manual correctly, the rear and front running lights are on one fuse, and since the front is running the fuse is okay.

Sounds like a twin filament bulb (side&brake light).
Can you show a wiring diagram.

Yes. Tail lights are usually dual filament rated 21/5W - either can fail leaving the other working. Thumbs Up
