Hello All!
Need a bit of help identifying a book that I read a few years ago and cannot remember the title, so I thought I would put it out there!

It's a series of short stories that are all linked somehow, there is a story of a Japanese cult member who is planning a sarin attack on the metro and is on the run, there is a story of a Russian woman in Moscow who is a curator at an art gallery and is involved in swapping the real paintings for fake, a story set in London about a ghost writer. I remember that this one is called Poppy. One about a woman scientist that discovers something and goes on the run. One is set in a Hong Kong record shop and is about a Jazz lover and his girlfriend. One is about a radio presenter broadcasting on what is thought to be the last day before the earth is destroyed. There are more stories in this book but my memory is too vague.

So, if any of the above disjointed nonsense should jog anybody's memory, I would be most grateful!

Thanks
Stalk

I pasted one of the sentences from your post into google (One is set in a Hong Kong record shop and is about a Jazz lover and his girlfriend), got a load of bollocks about Hong Kong record shops, then tried it with the word 'novel' in front which brought it straight up.

I won't be seeking the book out after reading through that link!
