So, is it too early to start the new 2018 official sticky thread or not?

Some may want to start payments early to build up rather than pay all in one hit in July.

What should I do? Guide me brothers & sisters. Show me the way........

Never too early.

Start now, no one, and I mean no one, should have any excuse if they put their names down.

Its less than 9 months, so any children created now will not be born.

Holiday can be booked with work in a timely fashion.

You can now set the days as busy in your calendar, so if an invite to some other shitty shindig comes up, you can fuck them off big time.

Go go go.

Glad someone is Razz

Well since this thread is up nice and early, I'll take the opportunity to suggest staying there until the Monday rather than the Sunday, if there's enough people then we could just split the cost between us for the extra.... that is unless the field is booked on the Monday

We'll have to increase the size of the bacon mountain, if we do that!
Can't imagine farmer Barleymow charging extra.

Last time I saw him we shook hands on the price and the date. He's charging us the same as 2017. He says he's joining in this year. Can't wait to see him on a trials bike!

He's really bad at answering his phone, so if you could just confirm everything with him when you see him, that'd be great.

He is quite good at herding sheep on a quad bike so may be OK on a crosser Laughing Laughing

Don't see him much at mo as he is avoiding the pub as there is a problem with someone and a tractor engine
But try to catch up once a month or so

I believe that G won't be able to bring his toys simply because he's supposed to be at a festival a couple of days later and it was too hard to do last year.

So, if anyone with a van/storage fancies arranging with him to pick them up and the drop them back at a mutually agreeable time that would be fucking fantastic.

I have a garage for storage but it's miles out of the way of either G or the site.

I have a garage about 10 miles from the site. Happy to store shit for a week or so. Can't help with the transport I'm afraid, I'll be coming on the bike, but will be about evening and weekends for drop off/collection if that helps at all?

Oh, and I'm obviously up for the BBQ again btw.

If G lets me rob his van, then I'll drive them up and give him my bike as transport, GSXR, you know you want to.

Failing that, I do have a bike trailer in SE Kent, but can't tow for toffee.

He'll need the van for the festival. Thats the problem, emptying the van and refilling it for the festival overnight.

(Tl-Dr'd)
Basically; not sure if I'll make it/be able to bring much stuff if I do.
As offered last year, if anyone wants to look after toy(s) and transport them to the site, sure we can work something out.

Im a maybe. Right in the middle of placement for me, and I have sporadic weekend bits too. Will try but have to move on 30th which I'm using one of my 2 bookable days off.
I considered coming but being sensible but I am incapable of that because breakfast is off a mirror washed down with tepid stella and I'm weak.
