We have indeed.

I tend to kill my bike with the kill switch, so I always check it's on.
I started doing this because when I used to park up at work, some dick would randomly hit my kill switch, causing me bother, so I decided to use the kill switch instead of the key and the problem instantly went away.

Management light stays on until engine is running. Because it's on when the engine is stopped does not mean there is a problem.

Engine could be stopped for many reasons, kill switch, no fuel, idiot on board. Who knows.

No fuel would light up the FI light. I'm assuming OP sees light, says EML.
