Good job that was a one off which will never happen again.

I had one on my Burgman, it was even acer. Tucano do scootay specific models that seal round the bodywork to make a cosy cocoon. You could wear slippers and still be comfy, not that I did, much.

Fitted a new set of Tucano R321's to the 700 Deauville, rewired a heated jacket and put new power plugs on two more so I have a few spares now.
Ordered some thermal fuses so I can repair a heat controller but need to perfect my circuit board soldering before I do the repair as well as soldering micro switches to a couple of more heat controller circuit boards.
Washed and reproofed various Goretex Textiles that I have picked up cheap 2nd hand over the last few months, £120 for top of the range Proshell suits is always worth it.

Very posh, I've just got the abba lift + wheels and it's excellent, when I have a garage I want one of those skylift things.

Got my bike back from the garage today (in for a major service), excellent service from M&S in Newcastle, they had a winter discount + free pick up and delivery deal on. Cleaned the bike and checked it over, cleaned the brakes and oiled and adjusted the chain. Even got progress pics Laughing

Installed new races in the 750 ready for the new tapered bearings.

Top race is supposed to sit proud, was going to fit the new bronze swing arm bushes but the ID allowed for more play than I found acceptable.

Picked this idea up from members of the sohc forum in lieu of a bearing press, unfortunately one of the 49mm washers I made at work was a little too soft and it distorted a little. "Luckily" my parents washing machine packed in the other week and the bearing cage happened to be the ideal size of 48/49mm (the lower race sits slightly recessed in the headstock tube).

New/alternative swing arm bushes are in order (otherwise I may modify the swing arm roller or something of the sort).

Chain lube & tension.
Removed road shit from rear brake drum and linkage.

Re-wire will have to wait, because I had to do the above in the snow.

Got an old garden feature from a friend, it was damaged. So messing around when a DPD driver comes by he has to wait so I can sign. Start showing him the bike and we came up of using this to carry tweety pie for the local charity run. Needs some work to it strengthening and a base being made plus paint.

Put on Acerbis front fender bag, haven't drilled holes and cable tied, probably will after first outing, want to see how I get on with it, might need to move it nearer to light, don't want to drill holes everywhere.

Bodged Kreiga 5litre dri-pack onto back, rather than four bolts with the restraining straps, traditional cable ties, and extra bodge points for using part of an old dog harness. slip it over back end, then thread it through bag, and use locking clip. Back end is already bodgetastic after smashing it up, so lots of holes for cable ties already, and don't want to drill more holes in back end. Embarassed

Started up just fine. Finished cleaning it then changed to go for a ride. Started her back up, checked the lights, then was about to leave only for the bike to... not be working any longer.

Will be posting query in the Workshop.. because I'm not entirely sure whyyyy...

Started both bikes up, did a small celebratory dance that they both ran (sorry Tigerlea!) and then checked the forecast for the weekend. Looks alright so I might actually go out on one or both!

But not at the same time.
