Alex Kid is just as good as I remember but it brings me to the conclusion that the games of today are softer and easier.
You can get shot a few times in COD and carry on but anything collides with you in Alex Kid, you die.

Definitely. I like how you only get a certain amount of lives with some games, then they basically say start again you mong Very Happy Imagine a current FPS doing that.

I can't believe how hard Street Fighter II is. I downloaded The New Challengers (the last of the ST2 variants), as it's meant to have more balanced characters etc... still can't win a fight Crying or Very sad

I'm the same way with the Mortal Kombat. I used to smash it back in the day but can I do it now?

bought a PS4 along with Cod WW2 ( AGAIN!) Most expensive game, ever.

There are so many cheaters on PC. The player base is dropping to the point i see the same players over and over again so i've moved over to the PS4.

How do i make my thumbs work?

Any good games for PS4 i should try? Just got 'just cause 3' in the steam sale on PC which i might have a go at later.

I bought a SNES classic mini. I completed F-Zero on easy, completed Streetfighter 2 on normal and am currently playing through the enormity that is Super Mario World.

Completed Beneath a Steel Sky last night Cool

Was looking for something similar and stumbled upon this...

https://www.pcgamer.com/returning-to-westwoods-blade-runner/

It looks amazing for a 20 year old game.

Been getting my behind handed to me by Cuphead. That game is soooo hard.

Also, bit of Fifa, bit of NHL and a bit of COD:MW remastered.

What's the difference? I thought hyper mode or whatever it was included special moves but was essentially the same.

I've been pulled into two games I didn't think I would (on the SNES mini). Downloaded the original Tetris just to see if NES games worked with Retroarch, and I've been playing it a fair bit Embarassed

https://www.coleka.com/media/item/201703/23/sega-master-system-asterix_250x250.jpg

Also downloaded Asterix as I used to play it on the Sega Master System as a kid, its actually pretty advanced for the time. It's odd how you remember stuff from a game decades later, but you forget peoples names/birthdays (well I do at least) Smile

I think I was in turbo **** mode, but I meant the 'difficulty' that is adjustable in the option menu. If you complete it on less than hard you get a crappy ending screen rather than a couple of slides which masquerade as a cinematic. I completed it with Guile. I'm currently working through it again with Ken.

Fortnite Battle Royale is free (PS, Xbox, PC). Can't see just Fortnite as free Sad
FBR is good for a giggle, Fortnite is supposed to be free later this year. I am too stingy to pay for a battle pass for FBR (paying for cosmetics! pff!).

I've come second loads of times (hello, ladies Wink) but I've never won a game. I'm too crap at building, I think. I should practice it more.

Am currently playing loads of Assassin's Creed: Origins on PS4. I've been spending most of my time exploring and doing side quests rather than following the main quests. I'm finding the world fascinating.

It's the first AC game I've played and I'm super enjoying it. From what I've heard it's not a "reskin", it's different from the others, so at least I know when I go for Black Flags on my PC it won't be a repeat. Very Happy

Black Flag will feel horrifically clunky and small by comparison. It's still a fantastic game though. The sea elements of it are addictive and fun.

I've gone back to Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Having completed Mankind Divided, I thought HR was better in nearly every way.

I got my second win yesterday! woop woop Smile
I joined a squad, bravely ran away while the others got battered and hid 'til the end. Then shot the last guy who'd built a fort right in front of me, not knowing I was there lol.
My other win was solo.

Have been playing Ghost Recon Wildlands again as a couple mates got it over Xmas and even though I have completed it, it's god to activate tier one mode (locks to extreme difficulty setting) and also the Ghost War PVP mode is cool.

Been playing Styx : Shards of Darkness with a pal as well, very cool Coop game which is solidly hard and you don't get any saves and the enemies insta kill you and have a pretty decent Ai behind them.

Still need to go back to Assassins Creed Origins I bought months ago but kept crashing for me.

If it's been activated, can other team mates still level up if below Lvl 30.

A bit late to the party with this, but I just started playing Horizon: Zero Dawn. I've pretty much just passed the prologue and I am very impressed so far. It's much more story and lore driven that I expected. I was thinking that it would be a generic sandbox game.

I've started and restated that game 3 times - twice on my boyfriend's PS4 and finally on mine. It's such a gorgeous game but I stopped my play through when I got Assassin's Creed.

At some point I'll play through HZD completely!
