Alternative batteries for Drifts are cheap on ebay, I got an external USB charger and spare for about £7 but only used it a couple of times as original lasts a good two hours (Ghost HD).

I've tried a few aftermarket batteries but they're very hit and miss. Some say they're higher mAh but only last for 30 minutes

Is that at 1080 or 720?

1080 although I only film at 720 for more space on the card

Hmm maybe I'll try my other battery, I wouldn't trust it beyond two 30(ish)min journeys.

I've also used mine as a dash cam', and it's 4.5 hours (iirc) at 1080 on a 32GB card. With no loop recording you have to make sure the cards empty on long journeys.

Loved mine... till it died after about 5 months commuting use.
Wouldn't charge, power on or anything.
Sent it back for replacement but they are now discontinued and only got money back.

Now using a cheap £30 go-pro copy from amazon and its working great. Battery lasts for hour 30 mins which is surprisingly decent.
Sound a lot better than Stealth 2 which is just wind noise above 5mph
