How do you know he didn't?

He knows Fucking everything. Except how to stop his wife running off with an immigrant.

What someone does in the immediate aftermath of that sort of situation isn't representative of their actions/feelings when they aren't actually crapping themself.

What someone's taxpayer provided lawyer hilariously asserts on their behalf isn't representative of their actions/feelings when they aren't actually crapping themself at the prospect of being held accountable for the first time in their life.

Having been through the immediate aftermath of this sort of waste, and having seen the effect on other members of my family and their desire for immediate retribution, I'm even more convinced in the correctness of our society's decision to separate retribution from punishment, and that an eye for an eye will, as often stated, will just mean everyone ends up blind.

for causing death by driving whilst unlicensed, disqualified or uninsured it is two years. The

Oh.

So does that mean anyone legal to drive causing death by dangerous can expect up to 7 times the sentence of an illegal driver causing death by dangerous? Shocked[/quote]

Looks like another law that's been created due to little brown envelopes.
Also the two year sentence doesn't say anything about dangerous driving only causing death which could very well be because some idiot ran into our faultlessly travelling freeman or the victim of a cloth eared telesales twerp, and offed themselves.

Doing a quick search seems to confirm it until the courts, on those rare occasions where a sliver of common sense has broken through, changed it slightly.

Quote:
Another controversial aspect of the offence is that it did not appear at first to require any fault on the part of the uninsured driver. Therefore, if an uninsured motorist for example, driving otherwise faultlessly and under the speed limit, happens to be crashed into by a second motorist, driving erratically on the wrong side of the road, under the influence of both heroin and alcohol and having worked a number of lengthy shifts at work, that first driver is guilty of the homicide offence regardless of the fact that the accident was clearly the fault of the second. Those were the facts of the case of Hughes where the Court of Appeal ruled that the first driver was guilty of the offence despite the blameless nature of their driving. The Supreme Court disagreed. It held that there had to be some element of fault in the driving; not necessarily enough to amount to careless driving but there did have to be some element of blameworthiness about it. That changed the law.

Death by dangerous driving is max of 10 years. It's irrelevant whether you had a licence or not.

Death whilst not licenced is a more minor offence because it doesn't really require you to be at serious fault, just a death to be involved and you to be not licenced.

Sister, it was a familial indiscretion. I'm big into crossover episodes.
