Personally I have troubles. My troubles have made me feel worse than I did when my wife decided to shoot the crow. Mental health issues can supersede even bereavement. I'm on Olanzipine, Fluoxitine and Lamotrigine and alcohol to keep me stable. And I am stable(ish)

There is help out there. It took me twenty years to realise it.

Thank you sir, I can't argue with that. I'm also a cannabis addict.

Jesus, Paul. Can you not just be a man and start handling your life with some sense of maturity. It's like constantly dealing with a 13 year old schoolboy in short pants.

Dramalammalamma.

Woeing at the expense of pragmatism and effort. Shake it up, do something and start knocking some problems on the head systematically; if it helps you concentrate on the big stuff deal with the low hanging fruit first.

But whatever you do, quit bawwing and start fixing.

That's a good question, he was a bit 'nice' for this place mind you. Perhaps he's found a different forum?

Pol's admission comes as a surprise to no-one, I see.

Pol:
No-one likes a braggart. It's a shit way of trying to gain any form of social credit - even bodyguard has largely given up on it. Being vindictive only really works if you've got the witticisms at your disposal to manage it, and the initiate to see when it's going to work against you. I walk a fine line between making people laugh and being seen as a cunt, and it takes a fair bit of work and self-checking.

Follow Smiler's path - get out from under by making a big move, and just getting on with life. Don't go putting yourself out there forcibly, let people gravitate to you. Sure, you won't be surrounded by legions of people, but so fucking what?

More to the point, trying to be the biggest dog in any situation doesn't work - it just makes you look insecure as all fuck. Remember how awkward you felt when you came to the bbq years ago? That wasn't anything to do with people making noobs uncomfortable, that was because people have no time for idiots who claim they're gonna knock everyone out. It's the exact same problem shereen had - the desperation for recognition and acceptance just makes it impossible to achieve.

TL; DR - drop the bullshit, and start over. That might mean you have to move away from your Jeremy Kyle family situation too (assuming any of that is real) - having moved halfway up the country myself for entirely different reasons, I can tell you that it's really not that hard to do.

You'll get the hang of being a functional adult eventually. Once you've dug yourself out of the pit of your own making, then you can start to work on the mental state.

See, now I think it's not Pol, and that he's just being drama poacher.

I've tried hunting him down, but actually harder than expected Sad my PM to him on 28th 'checking in' is still in my Outbox.

Something may have come about after the Arcane debacle, but afraid I just haven't heard from him and truly hope nothing has happened to him.

I always assume when someone goes quiet they've found something more productive to do, and I'm a little jealous.

Come back to the dark side Tracer!

Why don't we all PM him? I get an email when I get a PM even if he's not looking at the forum his email should still be switched on.
If he gets a dozen or so notifications maybe he'll log in for a nosy, I've just sent mine? Did I miss an Arcane debacle?
Bugger! What happened Paddy?

Oh, and did the other bloke jump? Didn't see anything on the news so I assume it was the usual cry for help rather
than a serious attempt. Genuinely suicidal people usually write a note then follow the Nike mantra and just do it.
Assuming not dead, get yourself on the phone to Samaritans or something or get some counselling
elsewhere cos your brain is a bit broke pal, but thats not to say there's no way back from there. But if you're struggling
to cope, there are organisations out there that can help you, Citizens advice should be able to point you in the right direction.

Oh right the actual person in question Very Happy

I guess it depends if it's a case of being a c**t cos you're a c**t or being a c**t because of something going on. What I mean by this is that being in pain (which I assume he is) does turn you into a grumpy old man, and obviously makes you shit company.

I kinda (possibly) relate to Stevo as well, having time off from work etc., not doing normal things can definitely heighten anxiety, and make regular activities a big deal (in your head). I've had this a bit myself, and also saw it happen to a close friend, who went from working to being unemployed and anxious about leaving the house.

It's been a tough ride bcf.. a very tough ride ice run out of fuel now

I've lost all my friends I've been nasty to so many people and hurt and upset many others

I had great friends like pyro he th and tiny and I shit over them all and treated them like shit now they aren't here when I need them most

Of course hahadumball on bcf was all provado and a big front

I'm just me.. a struggling 26 year old who can't take charge of his own life is scared of social interactions and worst fear is dying alone I look up to others for acceptance and act like someone im not just to be liked

Sorry to hear about your situation.

You need to go to your Doctor and ask for help. Coming to BCF for answers (ironically) is not the answer. Make an appointment to see your GP and tell him how you feel. He’ll advise you on your best course of action and if necessary refer you to a specialist to help further.

You’re not alone, there are people that can massively help the way you feel.

You need to reach out to someone, it'll be tough to do, but suicide isn't the way forward. A family member, an old friend, someone who knows you or a professional as mentioned above.

I lost an old friend to suicide before Christmas and all he needed to have done was to speak to ANY of his friends as we didn't realise how bad it was.
