Sorry, I had to rate that as "funny".

No, you're stuffed. No BOATs, no "green laning", nothing. It's a highway, or it's private land, or it's the jail for you, laddie.

I thought people only moved to Scotland by the court's order. Are you going willingly? Thinking

Plenty of bike thieving scrotes in Edinburgh, they are the only ones to go off road on your motorcycle.
On another point why would you want to go off road when we have so many glorious tarmacked road in gods country

As far as I'm aware, the foreshore is your friend in Scotland, I think you can do what you want there.

Funny enough, no. I was supposed to be going to Plymouth(which is greenlane heaven ) for work but turned out that was full so Edinburgh it is. If i had another option, id take it. Not too bad as in november the project finishes and i go somewhere else.

because i havent been riding for long so going 10mph on mud is easier than going 60 on tarmac imo. i'm also not confident in the cheap Chinese tyres to be honest. going to get some better ones and go for it as theres no other option

It's the area between low and high tide on the beech, I think in Scotland you can conduct any lawful activity there.
