Hi all, me again.

New issue cropped up today. I went outside and the bike was completely frozen, took me 10 mins to get the key in the ignition but that’s not the problem.
The headlight button was also frozen but was easily freed and seemed fine but when I came home tonight in the dark I could not switch between low and high beam. It stays on in low beam but when I press the button it won’t switch to high beam and the blue light just flickers and goes off.
The ditch type is one that you push in to engage and push again to disengage (push on / push off).
Could the problem be water logged, a short or a damaged switch?
Anyone had a similar issue?

Cheers

Water freezing inside a switch can break things.
Shouldn't need more than a screwdriver to open and have a look.

Also use a bike cover or a cover for the electrics.
Ask your mother in law for her fur coat!
