glad you sorted the links Fizzer, been looking back at this thread for 'inspiration' much better with the visual aids restored.
Shame those PRR seat units (or anything PRR for that matter) are like rocking horse now, would have loved one for mine. ____________________ Current: 02 FZS 1000 Some Bike Pics...

Interesting to read about your brother's experience modifying his Z650 Chickenstrip. The pattern Jota bars were a bit too complicated for what I wanted and once I had things set up almost how I wanted them I removed the heavy bit between the cross bar and the outer sections and had the joins welded up.This gave me an even better riding position...and they kept in theme with losing weight, especially off the steering.Once stoved black they looked much better. |
My brother's 650 was a bolt-on bits special, nothing like the work that went into your 750. It did look good though. I've had a soft spot for Z650s ever since. i can't really remember the exact set up of the Jota bars now. Think they had four adjustment points (two either side)? Quite complex for a handlebar. I think my brother also tried old-style 'Ace' bars, but for some reason, didn't stick with those either. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017
