Ok, probably not 'cool' for most people, but I think it's great that there's something like this available, if you've got the time and interest to do it. Quite a wide variety of free courses.

There's also:
Coursera - Classes in everything and everything. Real teachers, real assignments, real video lectures, real dates/deadlines, and a fun but probably useless certificate PDF at the end. I took an astrophysics course offered by Duke University about five years ago. It was great, and required much more time investment than I thought.
MIT Open Courseware - Get a STEM degree education for free. .e.g. Here's everything they have for physics. The only thing you won't get is a certificate. |
