As above, I'm looking for a recommendation for an engineering company or bike modification specialist who can or will make small one off parts for any bike.

The bit I want making is a new front brake caliper carrier for a Kawasaki KMX 125. It'll be a simple job with the right equipment, as I want a copy of the standard part but with an extra 15mm distance centre to centre from the fork leg mounting holes to the slider pins.

I don't have access to the equipment to make the part myself anymore. I know I could get a spacer bracket made, but for just an extra 15mm distance between centres it doesn't seem worth it.

I've got a spare caliper carrier and can do an accurate drawing of the new part to copy if required.

Any small, local machine shop.
A tour of the local industrial estate should turn up something suitable. I assume a basic mill would do the job?
A 15mm spacer on a lathe will be a lot cheaper than an entire carrier, at least to prove the concept.

I can do jobs of this nature and don't mind doing it via post/pictures if it's a simple part. I started doing this kind of thing myself purely because of the lack of local machine shops. If you're friendly with one you might be fine but generally these kind of jobs are a bit of a nuisance to them.

Send me a message if you're interested. My lathe will turn anything up to about 10.5" and my mill has a travel of about 2'.
