it's getting annoying now

not pain, just odd and slightly uncomfortable, feels like an involuntary shudder on my right hand side where my ribs are

I assume it's something minor, but any ideas how to make it just go away?

A trapped nerve...or a stress related twitch.

Choose either one, then ignore it like a proper man does.

or do as doggone has suggested and masque the ailment using your chosen intoxicant....then ignore it.

I get that sometimes but only lasts a few minutes. How long does it last for, and how long have you had it? I'd guess it's a spasm in your intercostal muscles. Nothing to worry about yet, but might be worth getting checked out at the GP just in case. Certainly go there if you get problems/pain with anything respiratory or gastro related like reflux, indigestion, hiccups etc

Could you be pregnant?

That sounds like a baby kicking/hiccuping/farting in there.
