Oh and the £36 *upgrade special* says that you get a BikeJet "now", but delivery is in August.

Hmm, yeah I suppose that could be July or August, but it all depends on what other ones get chosen.

The specials are just that. They dont conform to the same timings as the standard pledges.

The rewards are geared towards giving people more for less as an incentive. So getting in early gets you a BikeJet quicker and also you need to pledge less.

Hi XxxxxxxxxxX,

Hope you are well.

I’m just wondering what your thoughts are on the editorial? I am pushing the kickstarter live this Saturday, so I’m hoping to have all my reviews and editorials come out during the next week or two. Is that on the cards? Do you need anything further from me?

MCN response wrote:

Hi Chris,

It is on the cards, yes. However, I don’t really want to promise you a date, as I can’t ever guarantee whether the paper will change or not before it goes to print.

Thanks very much

I know it's a KickStarter issue - but I ordered one of the super-earlybirds and wanted to add a second wiring kit (with no extra postage) - but the page wouldn't allow me to select both options (& if I go back in to get 2nd wiring kit, it wants to charge postage)

Kickstarter is a scam!

😂 Pledge it including the postage and I'll refund it for anyone with the same issue if and when it comes to that 👍

I just went back into Kickstarter - pledged for the wiring kit and clicked OK. All done thought I - I then received an Email that said "You have successfully changed your pledge from £18 to £13" - so it won't let me pledge for two of the options. Unless I'm being an Aaradam.

I would do it 2 fold - do the main pledge you want, then seperately do another pledge for the wiring kit as a guest.

I have it on good authority that kittens don’t like being sprayed.... I don’t think they would appreciate a BikeJet fully..?

Unless they use it as a weapon against dogs? New market perhaps? 😂

Well, I'm not going to file a claim for mad compo straight away, am I?

Srsly though, what happens now? All or nothing (why? whyyyyyy?) so you get nothing, and have blown your wad of free publicity.

Sad times, so many dead bruvs. Sad

Hi there,

Thanks for being a backer of BikeJet - Fit and forget visor cleaning while on the move.. Unfortunately, this project did not reach its funding goal by its deadline. Because funding on Kickstarter is all or nothing, your pledge of £18.00 has been automatically canceled and your card will not be charged.

The fact that you showed your support is still appreciated! If you’d like to follow along with the creator’s next steps, stay tuned to their updates. You can even drop them an encouraging message or comment on their project page.

Thanks again for supporting this project.

Sadly, our levels of intellect are too disparate for a meaningful transfer of information.

I thought that depends on the temperate differencings? I'm so uneducated, and also not educated. Sad

Haha 😀

No dead bruvs though ..... as I’ve never claimed it saves lives though innit.

👍

Next step is to get funding through the local council trade and commerce committee. Will update in here when it happens.

In other news, I finally got the emulsifier I was waiting on... so I made a batch of “fuel” and stuck it in a spray bottle...

Just “washed” my bike with nothing other than it and a dry cloth. It’s come up sparkling Smile and I hadn’t washed it properly in 2/3 weeks.

Will check it tomorrow in daylight to see the results properly, but early indicators are very good.
