There are a couple of modds that need to be done to make the throttle response smoother ... adjustin the tps. Can you explain that in language a builder might be able to grasp? Whats TPS? Closed loop circuit? I fix houses.
These days engines and whatnot I usually leave to mechanics unless it's very straight forward. I'm no stranger to using tools
and back when things were lots more basic I did my own spannering, also partly down to necessity back then. But
bikes & cars have become more like computers over the years and I don't get those at all.

TPS.. throttle position sensor .. there is some movement possible by loosening two allen key bolts on the throttle body assembly .. it needs adjusting so it picks up any movement as soon as it happens .. easy enough actually ..

lots on the mt09 forum .. which is where i got my information from

see pdf. for kev mod.. closed loop etc.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll use it as it is for a while, I think I'll get used to it tbh, if I don't then I'll seek out the best way to improve it.

I seem to have issues posting on the mt09 forum, their security captcha seems to never work for me, what I input gets rejected even though it's exactly as the image is showing. Fook knows, I'm stuck to just reading info on there it seems!

Ok doing some reading it appears the O2 mod is for pre 16 models only.

Maybe with all the negative press the throttle got I was perhaps looking for it, I'll forget trying to fix something that may not be there and get riding it and report back after a few more miles are under the belt Thumbs Up
