It's never crossed my mind to lie (oddly). I've just reluctantly handed over the money, feeling a bit butthurt I was getting charged when I wasn't working or claiming benefits, and feeling doubly butthurt when I realised my £8 prescription cost a few quid online.

It was more embarrassment than anything else, OK I was in the wrong. Won't happen again. I get a prescription once a year if that.

Ikea Deluxe hotdog.

We went in for some bits and bobs, and were hungry at the end. I wanted a Hot Dog, and the mrs wanted some chips. The bloke serving us struggled to understand that one hotdog and one fries didn't mean three hotdogs and two fries. Once we'd sorted it and paid for what we'd ordered, the woman serving with him had set up two large hotdogs and a chips, and couldn't be arsed to put one back. Bonus.

Really nice, as well Smile Smile Smile

I bought two hotdogs, one for me, one for my daughter.
I'm not normally eating something on an Ikea trip, so paid and asked where the sauces were. They're round the corner if you're wondering.

Squirted red sauce all over the two dogs, ughhh it's only FUCKING RASPBERRY SAUCE.

Turns out they also sell ice cream.

Being the tight bastard that I am, I ate them both, and pulled my face at having to spend a whole 69 pence to replace the raspberry contaminated one for my daughter.

I decided to take a shit in their fake toilet to pay them back.

It's scary on so many levels that Ikea have had to do that with display toilets.

Just wanted to be clear, that's a generic internet Ikea bog pic, because my personal Ikea toilet pic collection is private, those are not my feet.
I wouldn't want anybody to get the impression I was a sockless shoe wanker Tut Tut

Giving the impression I'd shit in a display bog is fine though.

Got to admit, I was struggling with the idea of you being the type to wear hipstery mustard-coloured trousers. Laughing

Boss went to Italy to see his daughter for the weekend, came back with a box of cantuccini* for the four of us, except there's only 3 of us this week cos one is off on sick leave. Yay, more for us.

*those bias-cut biscuits with almonds in that you break your teeth on, but which means they are extremely suitable for dunking in a cup of tea.

Short story a bit shorter......

Bought a new watch, semi expensive. Came in two boxes, inner and outer. Left them on my bedside cabinet in my hotel room and the maid comes and throws away the outer box for some reason. I call the hotel manager and have a go at him. They search the rubbish bins but cant find the box.
He comes to my room with a bottle of red wine and says he will give me and my 3 work colleagues a free dinner in the Chinese restaurant in the hotel.

result. Very Happy prefer the box back though. Crying or Very sad

Over the last week or so, I've been given a Yamaha GT50, a small band saw, a box of assorted taps and dies, a load of nuts and bolts, a 25ltr jerrycan, a set of darts and various bottles of booze! Mr. Green

That's very nice for a freebie. Thumbs Up

Yesterday, we got a free wardrobe from a friend, and we had to get rid of the wardrobe we had replaced, so we gave it to the guy that runs the local junk shop, he lent me a sack barrow and wheeled it round there, and asked him what he wanted for the 30ft of garden hose, and he gave it to me.

Whilst i won't be jet washing my dirt bike outside my terraced house, I can at least clean it thoroughly now, after a £2 rinse at the jet wash.

Got a K40 laser cutter / etcher that just required mirror alignment. Previous owner didn't get on with it.

Time to mod it now.

Sunday I have free ERS ( Enhanced Rider Scheme) training with the rider assessment next month. I've volunteered as a rider for blood bike wales to transfer blood in the North Wales area and they insist on every rider doing so before being allowed to ride the bikes. I think they are going to be wanting IAM or ROSPA advanced qualifications for all riders later this year as well. A pair of new FJ1300's are awaiting delivery to replace the current Triumph 1050 and bandit 1250. This should be fun as I've been doing nothing but off road stuff on little KDX200's for the last 2 years Laughing Laughing
