hi all

any recommendations on wide boots? I have been wearing alpinestars racer ankle boots for past couple of years but the blisters are becoming an annoyance at how tight they are in width

thanks Mr. Green

I usually take half sizes wide, currently have a pair of tcx boots that seem to fit well, might be worth trying

Frodo managed to get to mount doom..so Hobbit-up you freak foot. Razz

TCX seem quite generous but you're far better getting thyself to a shop in the afternoon and wear your big socks.

I've got the same problem, alpinestars and sidi fit well, I just go up one in Euro size. I wear a 12/47 in normal footwear, a 48 in bike boots. Daytona will be my next buy.

Alt bergs. Any size you want. They won't be defeated. They can and will make them specially for you if none of the standard ones fit. They made a set of size 15s for my mate.

have tried stretching them using the shoe tree things but they seem to go back to full tightness again Rolling Eyes will give the daytonas a go or the Alt bergs once I get together some £. I don't have particularly long feet (size 11) but unfortunately are flat and wider than Frodo's

Stick them in a hot bath or shower. Leave the lasts in until they've dried out and cooled.

Altberg

Clubman Roadster comes in 5 width sizes off the shelf, will do made to measure for an unspecified fee, I'm not sure if their new range can be ordered in different width sizes without a fitting appointment. Factory is near darlington and if you can get there for a fitting then do so. I've had a pair of now discontinued Clubman Classics for 5 and a half years and the far side of 50000 miles and they're still in good condition.
