Hi guys, I was a bit dopey.. Confused
I bought an nsr after not riding for years. Im not 100% savvy on bikes, I'm fairy good with cars though..

So the problem.. the bike was running fine, ignition came on when you turned they key.. neutral light, kick stand light, lights came on ect..

Had to fix the kill switch as the connection came unplugged.. while I was looking round saw some rust on front of the frame that holds the headlights, decided to take it off rust treat it and respray. Went to put everything back together and think I may have blown a fuse.. as now there is no life on the bike. Battery is fine but when I turn the key nohing happens, no nutral light, no kick stand light, nothing..
I've read on here about possible fuses and connections. I've cleaned out the connectors and have been trying to locate the fuse box and I can't for the life of me find it! Shocked

My question.. where the hell do I find the fuse box? I've traced all the wires back and can't find anything that remotely looks like a fuse box

Do they have a fuse box or am I being blind??
Any suggestions where it is?! Embarassed

this bike has only one fuse of 15A in a cylinder shape plastic box sited on the main positive near the battery
the fuse is in a glass tube (easy to see if gone) . it goes off very rarely
to check if it was that :
- put key on
- with a small wire touch the 2 ends of the fuse holder and see if your dash board comes on
if it's not that check ground and battery positive
the positive is always RED , ground is GREEN , positive with the key is BLACK

Get a digital multimeter and learn how to use it.

Cheers guys, I spent about 30 mins looking around finally found it tucked under the frame out of sight, 15a fuse right next to the battery.. easy to find, if you know what your looking for..! replaced it and it's all good. Many thanks for the help
Thought I was being a bit special when I couldn't find it haha

And for the dude that said get a multi meter and learn how to use it, didn't even have anything to do with my question. very original and constructive. A++ comment.

Okay, fair enough man. I thought you were just trying being rude, my bad. I have a multi meter and I know how to use one, but I couldn't find where the fuse was, which was my point and question.

Cheers for the advice.

It's worth noting that they are usually always as near as possible to the positive terminal of the battery.
The reason being, to minimise the length of unfused wire. If it shorts between the fuse and the battery, it's party time.
