Sorry if I ruined anyone's day by closing a section of the A29 on Sunday. Didn't mean to fall off. Luckily nothing broken apart from the bike.

The Pan's a big lump of bike to be crashing. Lucky you weren't hurt.

Judging by the state of that front tyre I'm guessing you lost the front on a greasy road?

The grizzly bear skin on the seat looks to have escaped serious injury.

I came back along A29 on Sunday, around 2pm iirc. But only between Slindon and Billingshurst. Was not impeded by your unplanned departure. Thumbs Up

Congrats for bouncing.

Thanks for the comments guys. Bike has been inspected by insurance engineer and apparently isn't as bad as it looks. I've bought it back off them for a settlement figure and I'm waiting for it to arrive.

Advice on how to deal with bruised ribs is welcome.

Quick update on my tale of woe. Bike is in my garage and stripped down. No frame or fork damage. Need new fairings, radiator, clocks. I've just bought a complete fairings set in the correct colour for just £250 :-)

Found myself working in East Grinstead today so visited the accident site. I was having a root around in the hedgerow and found my windscreen, unbelievably its completely undamaged so that's £80 saved :-)
