There's a hospital bed DIY version on ebay at the moment going for 19 quid currently.

Personally I'd be happy to spend the cost of a decent lid on a purpose made ramp rather than have my lovely
shiny bike wobbling around on some kind of home made bodge job, I'm looking at turntable solutions as I'm building my
all new Grr-cave this year and it must have the means to easily turn a bike around on the spot. Mainly because
it will be built on the bit of my back yard I turn my bike around on now. Similar thing, I could build some kind of dodgy
thing on castors myself which would do the job at a pinch. But balls to that I want a turntable, recessed to floor level
preferably and with a brake. My other half has just had 20ks worth of pole studio or glittery she-cave. Now it's my turn
to blow through some funds. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

Eggzakery.
Buy a bike-lift.
New or used.
EBay.
You will never regret it.
Hanging a bike off a Strap-it-ontome is only good for one ir two jobs. A bike-lift like they use in bike workshops is how to go.
If not in use it can be propped against the wall/side of shed.
(Put a fixture on wall to secure it in place.) ____________________ Disclaimer: The comments above may be predicted text and not necessarily the opinion of MCN. |

Or I could dig a hole to stand in.
Given the shed is only 6ftX5ft my feeling was with a bit of re-enforceing the frame it would be good and rigid. Then use a winch to lift then a couple of slot in beams to put in at the right height then lower the bike onto them rather than have the bike swinging about. |
