For sale: Honda CBR600FW / F3 1998 model in grey/orange. The last of the carburettor-ed models.

PICTURES HERE

Low mileage - 17800 miles, 12 months MOT

2 owners, my Dad was the first who owned it from new until 2013 and had it stored in the garage with not a lot of use. More recently I used it for a few longer trips and some commuting and added half the mileage in the last 5 years.

Mechanically perfect, runs excellently with carbs professionally rebuilt last year to cure a float bowl overflow problem. Cosmetically, overall good, but needs some attention as I had a small lowside on it a few years ago and as a result has damage to the lower RH fairing and Remus exhaust. Haven't had the time to repair it but have recently seen a few second hand fairings of the right colour popping up on eBay. Shouldn't take a lot of money to get it mint again but I'm just not giving it the use it deserves now I've finished university and bought a car.

Loads of receipts and invoices plus the original paperwork and (unused) spare key. Engine oil has been changed annually irrespective of mileage, new battery and regulator/rectifier plus fuel filter change last year. Will come with mint original exhaust, which was on the bike for less than a year.

A great first big bike or could be converted to a track bike very easily! Cash on collection only - located in Watlington, Oxfordshire. £1195 ono.
