I'm guessing Londinium because that looks like some sort of hire bike? If I was unlucky enough to be in that situation (riding in the capital - who needs that shit?) I'd hoof the POS out of the way and park up. Hope that's what you did.

I better explain, I was working at the time, just collected a package from an address in Victoria, saw the bike and grabbed a photo before going to my next collection. Plus all the CCTV cameras around I couldn't do anything especially with the courier company name plastered on my back and motorcycle.

At the moment there are at least 3 cycle hire schemes I know of...

Isn't that the one you can leave the bikes absolutely anywhere. There a not docking stations?

Would last all of 30 seconds in MK where the amount of chavs riding around on stolen Santander hire bikes is ludicrous.

To be fair, how many people chuck a motorbike in the cycle racks.

Yarp.

"The world's first dockless sharing bikes are now in the UK. Start riding today: simply use our app to find and unlock your nearest yellow ofo bike.

Ride for just 50p per half hour, with a maximum daily cap of £5. Simply collect and leave ofo bikes anywhere that traditional bike parking is allowed."

They have them in Sheffield, I only ever see them

A) being ridden
B.) Smashed to fucking pieces on the floor.

Don't think I've seen one nicely propped against a wall for it's next user Neutral

It's getting out of control!

The local paper where I work had a picture of one of those 'leave them anywhere' hire bikes. It had been chucked in front of a set of buffers on the Dockland Light railway track.

There are a couple I think: https://www.o.bike/uk/

Don't think I've ever seen one being ridden, you just see them left in random places.

There are just two places in my town designed to lock motorcycles to. sensibly parked 5 to 8 motorbikes/peds can lock up there. Just meters away are a dozen bicycle racks.

Half the time, some selfish twit will park their bicycle horizontally across the motorcycle bit.

Maybe Tourist from Mars and can't read 'Motorcycle Parking Only'.

And it could be lifted to make space. There is tons of space in the bay.

The simple solution is to lock your steed to the rail, ensuring the pedal bike is also locked in the process.
