It was done on the way back as I got out early so it wasn't out of my way more than maybe 6 miles.

Also where are you getting car mots for £28??

And as it's ats I can go to my local for the free retest so I call that a win.

I did check the tyres I knew one needed doing but alas I totally forgot to change it with the spare which i took out of the boot and put in the garage to remind me.. #busylife

My apologises, I was going by the price of a motorcycle MOT, but even the Groupon page shows a car MOT at ATS as being originally £29.99.

If you could get the MOT done at any branch, why did you choose one 60 miles away, just to coincide with a hospital visit, 6 miles even from the hospital? Why not just book in at your local one, the same one you've now got to visit for the retest, because you forgot to change a known illegal tyre/wheel?

Makes no sense.

the 60 mile one was the closest one taking part in the groupon deal otherwise i would have done it at the closest one to me

I'm amazed they're letting you do this, because the MOT retest rules specify you must take it back to the same test centre who did the original MOT for a free retest.

Of course they will let him do it... They just will not have told him, that he has to pay. Laughing Full price, as they are not part of the groupon offer...
